Is your marketing mobile?

When you are thinking about your marketing, what do you think of first?

Is it your website?

Your social media presence? (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc?)

Your online store?

Those are all key pieces of your marketing plan but there may be one important factor you're overlooking: mobile.

Think for a minute how many customers come into your place of business each day. How many of them have a cell phone? All of them.

What if you could market directly to your customers' in a way they will respond to?

Well, you can!

What is mobile marketing?

Sending text messages to your already existing customers. These messages can include sales, events, weather closings -- whatever you need to communicate with your customers.

Customers can opt in for rewards programs through their phone, giving them certain perks as a VIP of your business.

It's quick, it's easy and it's effective. Your customers typically check their text messages more often than they do social media pages throughout the day -- especially if they are at work and can't access social media pages on their computer.

Why it's so effective:

You are marketing to your existing customers. You probably know how difficult it is to get new customers in your doors. (This is where many clients want to attract new customers with "Special New Customer Incentives" -- don't! It is annoying to your loyal customer base!) Instead, increase your customer loyalty with text marketing, letting your customers know about specials, deals, and other happenings in your business.

Not only does text marketing help you reach your existing customer base, it is also something that can be effective across your other marketing. Use your "Text XXXX to 55555" in your newspaper marketing or on social media to expand your reach, too. (If you wanted to be really creative, you could use a different opt-in to see the response!)

It's more affordable than you think, too. Mobile marketing via text messaging may be more affordable than other forms of marketing out there. You want to be at top of mind and what better way than with the one device that most consumers feel lost without?

If you'd like to find out a bit or more to schedule a quick -- and free -- phone consultation to find out how this can fit your business, send me an email today. I'd love to talk with you and discuss the varying options with you so you can make the most informed decision to help grow your business!
